Unity of all Christians

Unity among Christians is one of the New Testament's clearest and most urgent themes, yet it remains one of the hardest to live out given the many denominations and traditions that exist today. Jesus prayed in John 17 that his followers would be one, as he and the Father are one, so that the world would believe. That kind of unity was never meant to erase genuine differences of conviction, but it does call believers away from petty division and towards a shared confession of Christ crucified and risen. Paul's letters address church disputes directly, urging humility, patience, and a focus on what is essential. Unity, in this sense, is less about uniformity of practice and more about a common allegiance to Christ that overflows into love for one another, even across real theological differences.
