Have you ever felt a gentle nudge to do something kind? To check in on a friend. To forgive someone. To pray. To take a different path. To stop and help a stranger. It rarely shouts. It's usually quiet. Easy to ignore. Easy to explain away. But what if that gentle prompting isn't just your imagination? What if it's the Holy Spirit? Throughout the Bible, God often speaks in a whisper rather than a roar. He doesn't force us. He invites us. He nudges us. He guides us one step at a time. Many Christians can look back and see that some of the most important moments of their lives began with a simple feeling they almost ignored. A phone call that arrived at just the right time. A conversation they never planned to have. A decision that changed everything. An unexpected kindness that pointed them towards God. Those gentle promptings often become the moments we later call God's guidance. The next time you feel that quiet voice leading you towards love, kindness, truth, forgiveness, or courage, don't ignore it. Follow it. You may discover that the One guiding you has been walking beside you all along.
