    Reflection

The phrase move with God suggests something more active than simply believing a set of ideas, it points toward a life that keeps pace with God's leading rather than waiting passively for certainty before taking a single step. That is a hard rhythm to learn, because most of us prefer a clear map before we set off anywhere. Scripture repeatedly shows faith working the other way round, obedience often comes before full understanding. Abraham went out, not knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). The disciples left their nets before they had a complete theology of who Jesus was. Moving with God, in this sense, is less about having every answer and more about trusting the character of the one leading, even when the destination is unclear. It asks for a kind of responsiveness, a willingness to adjust pace and direction as circumstances and conscience shift, rather than a single decision made once and never revisited.

    • What would it look like for you to take one step of faith this week?
    • Who or what usually sets the pace in your decisions, and is that where you want it?
